Maddie McAllister, LCSW

Psychotherapist 

Prior to becoming a therapist at myTherapyNYC, Maddie (she/her/hers) studied economics through a behavioral lens. She was most interested in understanding how the larger scale human environment influences our relationships with our communities and families, as well as our lived experiences as individuals. Maddie also has experience counseling adolescents in a high school setting, and has spent time volunteering as a suicide hotline operator. 

About Maddie

Maddie enjoys working with young adults, adults, and couples with a focus on relationships, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and cultivating self-compassion and an understanding of our many personal identities. Maddie draws from a relational therapy background and believes that honesty, support, and understanding are the bedrock for a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship.


Maddie self-identifies as a cisgender, White, heterosexual woman.
