Tajh (he/him) believes that therapy is a valuable tool in navigating one’s life and connecting to the deepest parts of ourselves. Growth is a continuous process that challenges us to explore our discomforts, and through therapy, we can learn to receive support not only from a therapist but also from ourselves.
In addition to working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Tajh is a musician, Brooklyn-native, and is completing his degree in Mental Health Counseling. Tajh strives to provide a connective and welcoming experience, supporting his client’s intrapersonal exploration. Through focusing on developing a strong therapeutic rapport he cultivates deeper connections with his clients to support their reflection and resilience. Tajh uses an integrative approach, often using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. He strongly believes that our past has a connection to our present, and that making meaning out of those experiences can empower the present. He is passionate to help individuals reach their goals and live more dynamic and prosperous lives. His experience as a black gay man has granted him multiple perspectives that can help various minority groups and enhance his ability to support clients from various marginalized communities.
