Psychotherapist
Kiara (she/her) believes therapy is a space to feel supported, gain clarity, and better understand how you show up in your life and relationships. She works collaboratively with clients to explore patterns and move toward more intentional, connected ways of relating. Kiara pays close attention to what unfolds in the room, using the therapeutic relationship itself as a place to deepen awareness and insight. Her style is warm, direct, and grounded, with an emphasis on helping you feel both understood and meaningfully challenged.
I approach therapy as a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand yourself, both individually and in your relationships. The way we relate in session often mirrors patterns outside of it, and I see that as a meaningful place to begin our work.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. My approach is relational and systemic, meaning we look at both your internal experience and the broader contexts that shape it. I draw from AEDP, along with training in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to support deeper understanding, clearer communication, and stronger connection.
I especially enjoy working with couples who feel stuck in patterns of conflict, distance, or miscommunication. Together, we slow these moments down, make sense of what’s happening underneath, and work toward more intentional and connected ways of relating. I also work with individuals navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions about how they show up in their lives and relationships.
Our work may involve exploring patterns as they arise, making sense of emotional responses, and experimenting with new ways of relating. My goal is to support both insight and meaningful change that carries beyond the therapy room.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked across the country and internationally in a variety of sectors. Of all the work I’ve done, helping people build the relationships they want has been the most meaningful and energizing. I bring curiosity, attentiveness, and a steady presence into the room, and aim to create a space where you feel both supported and engaged.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, collaborative, and engaged therapist, I welcome the opportunity to connect.
Kiara identifies as a mixed-raced, cisgender, heterosexual, Christian woman.
