Weston Clay, LMHC

 Senior Psychotherapist | Clinical Supervisor

Prior to becoming a therapist, Weston (he/him/his) worked as a Professor of English, teaching literature and writing classes, and also wrote reviews of theater. He is continually interested in how literature and theater capture the ways humans experience the ups and downs of life and how we can reflect on these stories to learn about ourselves.

About Me

In his approach to therapy, Weston draws on experiential, relational, and emotion-based approaches and values the trusting bond that develops between a client and their therapist. Weston sees therapy as a way to bolster you so that you can handle whatever life brings your way. He will stand with you as you explore patterns in your emotions and relationships, encourage you to experience life in a present-focused and embodied manner, and help to foster the growth of your natural strengths and resiliencies. He is an innately curious, nonjudgmental, and compassionate person and wants to help his clients to become better friends to themselves.
