Ways to Cope and Heal

It can be beyond difficult to experience racism, yet sadly it is a common experience that Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) struggle with. Additionally, experiencing racism can impact mental health in multiple ways. Racism is a global issue – and it is pervasive in American society. It is important to acknowledge the fact that BIPOC experience racism in the first place. Be that as it may, there are ways to actively empower ourselves and generations to come. Coping with racial trauma can be incredibly challenging, but it is also an act of resilience and endurance.
