Beibei Lubin

Psychotherapist in Training

Beibei (she/her) believes that the work we do inside the therapy room is a reflection of who we are outside. Therapy is an ongoing conversation that leads to growth introspectively and interpersonally. She works with individuals, couples, families, and groups.

About Beibei

人生如梦,一尊还酹江月. Life is like a dream, and we should cherish the present moment like offering a toast to the moon reflected in the river – Chinese proverb

Beibei is a yoga teacher, professional photographer, and student pursuing her final year in the Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Manhattan University.

In session, Beibei integrates Eastern philosophy and Western theory. Together, the two foster a deeper awareness of self in order to cultivate deeper connections with others. From awareness through insight to action. Beibei has a systemic approach, which means seeing everything in context, and incorporates various techniques from somatic therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, creative arts therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, phototherapy, and yogic practice. She brings her whole self and leads with curiosity and creativity.

Before pivoting to therapy, Beibei worked as the Head of Wellness Events for SaksWorks and co-founded Lambda Mu Omega, an intersectionality-diverse sorority with a foundation of social justice and mentorship for girls. In her free time, she enjoys being a cat mom of two, salsa dancing, and spending time with friends.

Beibei self-identifies as a cisgender, bisexual, transracially adopted, Chinese-American woman.
