This group will help those who may be struggling with fear, stress, anger, or emotional exhaustion related to politics and current events in today’s turbulent world. During these challenging times, we need a safe, nonjudgemental space to process emotions, share personal experiences, and develop healthy coping strategies. Learn how to stay informed while also better protecting their mental and emotional well being.   

 

This group has limited space available, but is currently accepting new members. 

 

*This short term group is offered as a pay-what-you-wish model: you’re welcome to contribute whatever feels right for you. This is completely optional and not a requirement for joining this group.We believe that healing and connection should be accessible to everyone, which is why we make every effort to create affordable spaces for our community.

Do you find yourself anxious while reading the news? This group will work to provide the tools necessary to emotionally regulate and work towards self acceptance of how best to live within the chaotic political situation we find ourselves in each and every day. This support will not come from a certain partisan standpoint. Instead, it will help members leave the group with a better understanding of how their emotions affect them when stress levels rise.

A support group provides a safe space for members to discuss and explore difficult emotions or feelings that arise. It also provides practical tools that members can take away with them to use to help cope with future difficult situations. 

The Political Support Group is free of charge and anyone can attend!
