Kuzé (They/Them) is a Master’s student in Mental Health Counseling with a focus on the ‘here and now’ approach. With a background in Crisis Counseling, He has first-hand experience addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and more.
Prior to joining myTherapyNYC, Kuzé earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Autism Studies. They have worked with FEMA’s New York Project Hope, an emergency response organization providing emotional and referral-based support during the COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as the Quality Services for the Autism Community, a non-profit organization offering counseling support for persons with disabilities. In addition to providing counseling support for individuals with disabilities. They believe that self-reflection and identifying existing supports can foster self-empowerment and self-acceptance.
Kuzé identifies as a gay non-binary Latino individual.
